The Homestead Conference presenters have hundreds of years of combined homesteading and farming experience and the craftsmen speaking at the conference have received numerous awards in addition to being accomplished teachers. By bringing all these presenters together with vendors of homesteading supplies and equipment, the conference is a catalyst for a vibrant, holistic agrarian culture, fostering and nurturing the development of local food and craft and resulting in an alternative land-based economy that sustains families and communities.
